Dark Star Pictures released the trailer for Rodrigo Bellott’s LGBT drama film Tu Me Manques, Bolivia’s entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. Based on Bellott’s award-winning Bolivian play of the same name, the film centers on Jorge, a Bolivian man who travels to New York to confront Sebastian, his dead son’s boyfriend, after his death by suicide.

Tu me manques (I Miss You) starring Oscar Martinez, Dominc Colón, Rossy de Palma and Fernando Barbosa will open in select theaters April 22 (including Film Out in San Diego) and on DVD and Digital May 4 from Dark Star Pictures.

Following the death of his son, Jorge travels from conservative Bolivia to NYC to confront Sebastian – his son’s boyfriend. While Jorge struggles to accept the life of his son, Sebastian channels his grief into a bold play honoring his lost love.
