Halo-8 Entertainment has acquired North American rights to Adam Wingard’s psychological horror film “Pop Skull.” The film, which played last year’s AFI Film Festival, will have a limited theatrical run followed by a DVD release July 28.

The film, starring Lane Hughes and Brandon Carroll, depicts the lonely and disjointed life of a young pill addict who is plagued by ghosts.

It played the Rome Film Festival, where Wild Bunch acquired foreign rights. [via]
