Aishwarya Rai To Perform and actor Rajesh Khanna to receive award at 10th International Indian Film Academy awards

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai will perform at the 10th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards event, scheduled to be held in Macau, China on June this year for three days from June 11-13. Aishwarya will perform at the Venetian-Macau Resort on the night of June 13. Apart from Aishwarya, other actresses like Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor will also perform at the 10th IIFA event.

Veteran actor Rajesh Khanna will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Each year, IIFA honours a member of the Indian film fraternity with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their contributions to Indian cinema.
Khanna started his career in the film industry with the 1966 film ‘Aakhri Khat’, which was followed by ‘Raaz’ and ‘Baharon Ke Sapne’. But it was his performances in films like ‘Aurat’, ‘Khamoshi’, ‘Anand’ and ‘Aradhana’ that cemented his status in the Indian film industry. He ruled the industry from 1969 to 1972.
The Lifetime Achievement award has been previously conferred on stalwarts like Lata Mangeshkar, Waheeda Rehmaan, Yash Chopra, Dev Anand, Yash Johar, V K Murthy, Asha Parekh, Dharmendra and Mumtaz.
