Ian Ziering gets “Stripped Down”

“Stripped Down“, the long awaited film from award winning filmmaker Elana Krausz and Visualiner Entertainment will open in Los Angeles theatrically next weekend.

This starring vehicle for the talented Ian Ziering will make people forget any stereotyping from his role in Beverly Hills 90210. Elana Krausz, superbly directs Ziering in this disturbing thriller about the world of strip club abuse. Stripped Down is a surrealistic feminist art statement stuffed inside a candy coated exploitation bubble – serving up images of gyrating nubile young female strippers – yet has a darkly humorous payback for the serious abuse of the women you will see. Krausz takes Ziering and the other excellent cast into a David Lynch-Luis Bunel like surrealistic roller coaster ride. The cast also includes young accomplished actors including Marcus Jean Pirae (Bulletproof Monk), Bre Blair (Legally Blonde2), Lisa Arturo (Nip/Tuck), and Mitzi Martin (The Island). Elana Krausz, who also directed Vince Vaughn in “AT RISK”, in this film wears the hat of the female lead, as well as Director.
“Stripped Down” has already received various awards of excellence from multiple film festivals including Monaco, La Femme, Solstice and Silver Lake.
“Stripped Down” premieres on May 21st, before the film opens to the public. The premiere will provide a fundraiser platform for well known sex abuse charities including Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests (SNAP), and others. The film opens to the public on Friday May 22nd at Laemmle Theaters in LA, and will run daily for two weeks or more.
