“Milk” Screenwriter makes directing debut with “What’s Wrong with Virginia”

- Dustin Lance Black, who won the 2009 Oscar for best screenplay with “Milk,” wrote the script and will make his directing debut for the film.

TicTock Studios will produce the film “What’s Wrong with Virginia” this summer in Michigan, starring two Academy-Award winners and one Oscar nominated actor.

Jennifer Connelly, a 2001 Academy Award-winner for best supporting actress in “A Beautiful Mind,” and Liam Neeson, a 1994 Oscar-nominee for best actor in “Schindler’s List,” will star in the movie.
In the film, Connelly will play a psychologically disturbed mother of a 16-year-old son. Her love for the sheriff, played by Neeson, is challenged when her son starts a relationship with his daughter.
