RIP: Documentary Filmmaker Christian Poveda

Controversial French filmmaker,  Christian Poveda who recently made the documentary “La Vida Loca,” which follows the lives of members of El Salvador’s La 18 street gang, was killed on Wednesday. He was 52 years old.

Police reportedly found Poveda’s body inside a car in a Tonacatepeque, rural region north of the Salvadoran capital. He had been shot in the head.
