Best Feature nominee "Amreeka"
The nominees for the 19th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards were announced yesterday by “At the Movies” co-host and New York Times theater critic A.O. Scott. The awards will be held Nov. 30 at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
The nominees in each of the 6 categories are:

Patton Oswalt, “Big Fan”
Jeremy Renner, “The Hurt Locker”
Catalina Saavedra, “The Maid”

Best Ensemble Performance:

“Cold Souls”
“The Hurt Locker,”

Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You:
“Everything Strange and New”
“Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench”
“October Country”
“You Won’t Miss Me”
“Zero Bridge”
“The Hurt Locker” director Kathryn Bigelow, actors Stanley Tucci and Natalie Portman and producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will also receive career tributes.
