Actress Mo’Nique again a “no-show” at New York Film Festival premiere of Precious

Actress Mo’Nique was again a no-show at the New York Film Festival screening of “Precious” where it received a rare standing ovation. According to reports, after promising to attend the festival premiere of ‘Precious,’ Mo’Nique decided she was not being paid enough to attend.
Last night the excuse given was that it was the birthday of her toddler twins. Her publicist Tresa Sanders reportedly quit right after announcing her client wouldn’t be making it to the film festival.
Everyone else from this movie showed up last night, including Mariah, Lenny Kravitz, and Sherri Shepherd, and Robert DeNiro, supporting wife Grace Hightower who is also in the film.
Also in the audience, Jane Fonda and record producer beau Richard Perry, Steve Buscemi and wife Jo, Queen Latifah, Harvey Keitel, Gayle King, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and Chic producer Nile Rodgers (”We Are Family.”)
