Ethan Hawke and wife Ryan Shawhughes are the new parents of a baby girl.
“Clementine Jane Hawke was born on Friday … in New York City,” Hawke’s publicist Mara Buxbaum told The Associated Press in an e-mail Wednesday.

Jon Voight says he’s doubly happy about his ultra-famous new grandchildren.
Speaking during a Television Critics Association press tour, Voight told The Associated Press: “My heart is with them and all my love goes to them.”
Jolie gave birth to Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon in Nice, France on Saturday.

Nicole Kidman gave birth on Monday to a baby girl named Sunday.
In a statement e-mailed to The Associated Press, Paul Freundlich, a publicist for Urban, said: “Nicole and Keith Urban are delighted to announce that Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl on Monday morning, July 7, 2008, in the United States. Sunday Rose Kidman Urban weighed 6 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces. Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well.”

“There’s no urgency. It’s been planned for a long time,” said Nadine Bauer, a hospital spokeswoman. “She’s very well. Everything is fine.”
“She is not on the verge of giving birth, not at all,” she said. “It’s not for right away.”
The 33-year-old actress will almost certainly remain in the hospital until she gives birth, Bauer said. She said Jolie was admitted recently but would not say exactly when.
