Robert Redford married 51-year-old German artist Sibylle Szaggars, over the weekend, a German church said Wednesday.  Szaggars, born in Hamburg, is an abstract artist whose work has been exhibited in Britain, Germany, the United States and elsewhere. 

In 1981 the 72-year-old actor  founded the Sundance Institute which has grown to encompass the Sundance Film Festival.

Suvari To Wed Again

“American Beauty” star Mena Suvari is set to wed for a second time to music producer Simone Sestito’s proposal. The 29-year-old actress and Sestito have been dating for less than a year after meeting at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.

Suvari’s first marriage to cinematographer Robert Brinkman ended in divorce two years ago. The couple wed in 2000.

Uma Thurman of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill is engaged to financier Arpad “Arki” Busson.

“I can confirm she is engaged,” Thurman’s representative, Stephen Huvane, told The Associated Press in an e-mail.
