Coraline may be rated PG but reviewers are already saying it may be more appropiate for adults due to its creepy animation style. Director Henry Selick,, known for his Nightmare Before Christmas fame, seeks to create another masterpiece with Dakota Fanning doing voice work. The film is based on a Neil Gaiman (Stardust) story and follows the adventures of a young girl trapped in an alternate universe. LA Times Review.

The film goes all the back to 1998 as Star Wars fans around the world eagerly await the release of Episode 1. Three super-geeks have bigger plans, they decide to travel to George Lucas’s famed Skywalker Ranch in order to steal a copy of the film and be the first fanboys to see it. The film features an appearance from Seth Rogen, William Shatner and maybe even Lucas, the man himself. Variety Reviews the film.

A group of US Special Ops are dropped in a remote part of Afghanistan in order to locate a group of terrorists. What they find there is a supernatural evil that puts them off the radar and alone to fight against an ancient enemy. What makes this film special? It’s directed by Daniel Myrick who scared everyone senseless and spent no money doing it ten years ago with his debut film, The Blair Witch Project.Variety Review.
