Former world surfing champion Shaun Tomson will premiere his hit film Bustin’ Down the Door on Thursday 3 July, as a precursor to the Wavescapes Surf Film Festival, part of the Durban International Film Festival (DIFF) that runs between July 23 and August 3.

The first French and Francophone Film Festival kicks off Tuesday in Macedonia’s biggest tourist resort, the lakeside town of Ohrid.

Journeys, the theme for Durham’s first Artists’ Film Festival, is to be held at the Gala Theatre and Cinema in Millennium Place in the winter. The two-day event begins on November 22.
