Beirut International Film Festival returns October 1 - 8

After being canceled last year because of the political events in the country, the Beirut International. Film Festival returns this year from October 1 - 8, 2008. The festival has reportedly selected Paolo Sorrentino’s “Il Divo” as the opening night film. Sorrentino is expected to travel to Beirut for the event. Other festival films are said to include the Coen brothers’ “Burn After Reading,” starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
