THE OVERNIGHTERS

Nine films from Mexico, USA and Canada will compete in the Los Cabos Competition at the 2014 Los Cabos International Film FestivalLos Cabos International Film Festival for a USD $15,000 cash prize, and six Mexican productions, director’s first or second film, compete for a USD $15,000 cash prize in the Mexico First section. These fifteen films will comprise the 2014 Official Selection program of the festival which runs November 12 to 16, 2014.

The nine films chosen for Los Cabos Competition are:

3 HISTOIRES D’INDIENS by Robert Morin (Canada) – Latin American Premier.
10,000 KM by Carlos Marques-Marcet  (USA-Spain) – Mexican Premier.
A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT by Ana Lily Amirpour (USA– Iran) – Mexican Premier.
EL REGRESO DEL MUERTO by Gustavo Gamou (Mexico) – World Premier.
GÜEROS by Alonso Ruizpalacios (Mexico).
LISTEN UP PHILIP by Alex Ross Perry  (USA) – Mexican Premier.
THE OVERNIGHTERS by Jesse Moss (USA) – Latin American Premier.
TU DORS NICOLE by Stéphane Lafleur (Canada) – Mexican Premier.
VIOLENT by Andrew Huculiak  (Canada) – Latin American Premier.

The six films in the Mexico First competition are: 

ASTEROIDE by Marcelo Tobar Mexican Premier.
EDÉN by Elise DuRant.
EL INCIDENTE by Isaac Ezban – Mexican Premier.
EN LA ESTANCIA by Carlos Armella.
LLÉVATE MIS AMORES by Arturo González – World Premier.
SUMMUM BONUM (El bien supremo) by Matías Penachino – Mexican Premier. 

A seventh film, NAVAJAZO by Ricardo Silva, will also be a part of Mexico Firstout of competition.
