DOPE’s executive producer, Pharrell Williams revealed the film’s official poster on Instagram.
DOPE, a break out hit from this year’s Sundance Film Festival,directed by Rick Famuyiwa, tells the story of Malcolm (Shameik Moore) who is carefully surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.
DOPE, also produced by Forest Whitaker and Co-Executive Produced by Sean Combs, stars SHAMEIK MOORE, TONY REVOLORI, KIERSEY CLEMONS, KIMBERLY ELISE, A$AP ROCKY, BLAKE ANDERSON, KEITH STANFIELD, CHANEL IMAN, QUINCY BROWN with ZOE KRAVITZ, opens in theaters on June 19, 2015.
