2016 Whistler Film Festival Feature Project Lab

Six producers and projects have been selected for the 2016 Whistler Film Festival Feature Project Lab, an intense two-phase business and creative content development experience focused on strengthening dramatic feature projects from script to screen.

The producers and projects selected for the 2016 Whistler Film Festival Feature Project Lab are:

Joe Balass, Compass Productions (QC), winner of WFF’s 2015 Power Pitch Competition, with drama CALORIE, written by 2014 WFF Praxis Screenwriter participant Eisha Marjara

Jon Ornoy, Animal Mother Films (BC) with heart-warming dramedy COMEDIENNE, written by James Pickering

Harry Cherniak, Inflo Films (ON) with suspense filled drama LITTLE KINGS, written by Dusty Mancinelli, 2016 WFF Praxis Screenwriters Lab participant

Jessica Adams, JA Productions (ON) with modern romantic drama MY HEART IS IN MY HEAD, written by Amy Jo Johnson

Jeremy Torrie, High Definition Pictures (MB) with film noir, OLD MAGIC, written by Carolyn Mamchur

Sara McIntyre, Kiss Dust Pictures (BC), with dark comedy THE LAST SIX, written by Sara McIntyre and adapted from the short story, Six Degrees of Altered Sensation by Kim Clark
