Shriekfest International Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival released the full, expanded schedule for the Sweet Sixteenth annual horror film festival, returning to Raleigh Studios Chaplin Theater in Los Angeles, October 6 to 9, 2016.
Festival goers will once again enjoy the finest in independent cinema from around the globe, from the opening night screening of PARASITES starring Robert Milano (Fast & Furious) to the shorts from Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom and finally to the World Premiere of DEAD AWAKE written by Jeffrey Reddick.
American independent films are also well represented this year with TELEIOS screening on Friday, October 7th, as well as I HAD A BLOODY GOOD TIME AT HOUSE HARKER, which is screening on Saturday, October 8th. Also on the lineup will be GEHENNA-WHERE DEATH LIVES (Doug Jones & Lance Henriksen), COLD MOON (Josh Stewart, Christopher Lloyd), OCCUPANTS, CAPTURE KILL RELEASE, PEELERS, and PARAMEDICS.
Short films includes GIRL #2, BLIGHT, BRENTWOOD STRANGLER, EVELESS, SURGERY, and the clever THE AMAZING MR. MOJI which will challenge the viewers with provocative, well-crafted original stories.
Once again SHRIEKFEST Film Festival exceeds at challenging the idea of what a horror film festival should screen, with eclectic selections (THE LIGHT THIEF) to science fiction (FLY SPY), comedy (HOW DEEP CAN I GO?), and even the disturbing (THE DISAPPEARANCE OF WILLIE BINGHAM).
