Kerry Film Festival, an internationally recognised Irish Short Film Festival in the picturesque town of Killarney, Co. Kerry in the south west of Ireland, closed on Sunday night after five days of short film, feature film and film industry events.
The festival closed with the World Premiere of BRACKENMORE, produced by CaraghLake Films who collaborated with a number of local organizations including Kerry County Council and the Kerry ETB. The cinema had seen full houses all day for the screenings of 13 Kerry Connection short films.
The Festival closed with an Awards Night with seven award categories announced.
The Best Kerry Connection was awarded to DEADLY VIEW directed by Malcolm Willis and the coveted Best Irish Narrative was awarded to HOMECOMING directed by Sinéad O’Loughlin.
