Dark Star Pictures released the official trailer for Henrika Kull’s Bliss (Glück), an unconventional LGBTQ love story set in the world of sex workers. Katharina Behrens, Ian Hansen, and Maria Mägdefrau star in this beautiful romantic drama out of Germany.
The film which played many prestigious international film festivals including Berlin IFF, Frameline, Out on Film, OUTshine Miami will be released in theaters on August 5.
Bliss is set in a world where femininity is considered a commodity. In a world where their femininity is considered a commodity, two sex workers fall in love with each other while working in a Berlin brothel. Together – and yet each on her own – they experience the one moment when happiness seems possible – but their love is threatened by different ideas of life and their own abysses.
