Musical meets crime drama in a colorful Athens set story of forgotten misfits.
Dark Sky Pictures revealed the official trailer for Broadway, the musical crime drama set in Athens, Greece, starring Elsa Lekakou, Foivos Papadopoulos, Stathis Apostolou, Rafael Papad, Salim Talbi, Hristos Politis, Nicos Arvanitis.
Directed by Christos Massalas, the Greek language indie film played at numerous film festivals including Rotterdam, San Francisco Indie FF, & more, and will be released in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on April 28 followed by a digital and DVD release May 16.
In the film tells of a group of four young street performers and pick pockets in modern Athens find an unexpected refuge in the “BroadwayStoa”, an abandoned entertainment complex. The balances of their makeshift-family will be upset when a former team member is released from prison.
