“Being From Another Planet,” an independent film by The Coughing Dog Pictures that was shot primarily shot in Michigan cities of Marine City and Richmond will have its premiere on Friday night, March 25 in Marine City, Michigan.

Written and directed by Joseph Parcell, the film is about a teen who was born on Mars because his parents are astronauts. When the crew returns to Earth, he is labeled the first legal extraterrestrial.

Despite the title, Parcell said the movie is a comedy and drama and not a science-fiction movie, and he plans to submit to the Blue Water Film Festival.
