Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, YuLin left Tufts University Veterinary School in response to an intense itch to snowboard. Calling Mt. Hood Oregon home for 2 years and Salt Lake City, UT home for 3, her eclectic career in action sports began then. After holding multiple part-time jobs at Timberline Lodge, Brighton Resort, Snowbird, and Mount Hood Meadows, YuLin became a sponsored snowboarder by Betty Rides, Atomic Snowboards, and Zeal Optics. Transitioning into the business side of snowboarding, she became the Marketing Director and Team Manager at Demon Snow. Making the pilgrimage to So. Cal, the Mecca of action sports, YuLin received an MBA from Pepperdine University and interned with the infamous Circe Wallace, agent to some of the best athletes in snow, surf, and skate. An interest in media brought YuLin to FUEL TV where an internship became freelance which eventually became the stomping ground for many of her greatest professional achievements. YuLin was the Marketing Manager at FUEL TV for the last 3 years.  YuLin now freelances in Los Angeles, working with athletes like Jereme Rogers, Fabrizio Santos, and Terell Robinson when not snowboarding with her husband or competing in agility with her 7yr old black lab, Mokai.

I realized that the need to ‘make stuff’ had already found me.” Currently, you’ll find Scoggins everywhere online as the sometimes snarky voice behind Vans social media marketing as well as one of the co-producers on documentary film ‘God Went Surfing with the Devil’ – a look at the Israel-Gaza conflict through the lens of surfing.
