Sundance Film Festival announced the lineup for the annual Beyond Film programming, a series of talks and events.
The 2025 Sundance Film Festival, taking place from January 23–February 2, 2025, in person in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, unveiled the lineup of 87 feature films and six episodic projects.
Two Indigenous filmmakers, Kyle Bell (Creek-Thlopthlocco Tribal Town) and Peshawn Bread (Comanche) have been chosen to participate in the 2019 Sundance Institute Native Filmmakers Lab, continuing the Institute’s commitment to supporting Native American and Indigenous storytellers since its founding. This year’s recently selected Indigenous Program Full Circle Fellows also will attend the Native Filmmakers Lab.
The Berlin International Film Festival today finalized the lineup for the 2019 Competition and Berlinale Special sections. In the Competition, 17 of a total of 23 selected films will be vying for the Golden Bear and Silver Bears. 20 of the films will be celebrating their world premiere at the festival.
Films by Agnès Varda, Agnieszka Holland, Hans Petter Moland, Isabel Coixet and Wang Quan’an are among 11 films added to the Competition lineup of the 69th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival. Six more including The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, the feature film debut of Chiwetel Ejiofor, have also been selected for the program of the Berlinale Special.
