Florencia Krochik’s The Rest of Us, a documentary about DACA kids shot over a decade, won Best Picture at the 13th DTLA Film Festival.
Opening the festival is “Carlos Through The Tall Grass,” a coming-of-age tale about a brilliant young Latinx high school student who is having doubts about going to college.
Casey Nelson and Marchelle Thurman’s family drama Black White and the Greys opens the 6th Festival of Cinema NYC.
