Woman of the Photographs (2020)
Dread debuted the official trailer for Woman of the Photographs, the multi-award-winning psychological horror film starring celebrated stage actor Hideki Nagai, dancer and actress Itsuki Otaki, Toki Koinuma, and Toshiaki Inomata, best known for his role in Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s Oscar-winning Drive My Car.
BendFilm Festival announced the 27 films and filmmakers awarded jury prizes and more than $12,000 at the 17th Annual Festival with the top prize – Best of Show going to Warrior Women directed by Christina D. King and Elizabeth A. Castle. Other winners include Best Narrative Feature going to Freeland directed by Mario Furlon, Kate McLean; and Best Documentary Feature went to Sapelo directed by Nick Brandestini. Sapela also won the awards for Best Directing along with Special Jury Award for Documentary Cinematography for Nick Brandestini.
The Nashville Film Festival announces its official program selections for its Graveyard Shift Features & Shorts Competition, Animated Features Competition, Spotlight: Japan, US Independents and World Cinema Programs for the 51st edition of the festival, taking place virtually from October 1-7, 2020.
