‘Akunin,’ and ‘Breathless’ win 2010 Kimena Junpo Awards | Trailer

Akunin (Villain)

Akunin (Villain) directed by Lee Sang-il was awarded the Kinema Junpo Award for Best Japanese Film in 2010, and the Korean film Breathless by Yang Ik-Joon, received the award for Best Foreign Film.

Kokuhaku (Confessions) came in second in the Kinema Junpo for Best Japanese Film, followed by Takahisa Zeze’s Heaven’s Story, Takashi Miike’s 13 Assassins was fourth, and Sawako Decides came in fifth.

In the Best Foreign Film category. Invictus was second, District 9 third, White Ribbon fourth, and Hurt Locker fifth.

The Kinema Junpo Awards are presented annually, since 1925, by Kinema Junpo, a Japanese film magazine founded in 1919.
