Watch First Trailer for Christos Nikou’s APPLES Premiering at Venice Film Festival

Ahead of the world premiere as the opening film of the Orizzonti (Horizons) section of the 77th Venice International Film Festival, the first trailer is released via Hollywood Reporter for Apples (Mila), the feature debut of Greek director Christos Nikou.

In the film, a man struggles to recover his memory after a pandemic causes widespread amnesia.

In the film’s official trailer, we are introduced to Aris (Aris Servetalis), who falls victim to a strange pandemic that causes amnesia. Aris, known by his identification number 14842, is enrolled in a recovery program that requires him to record experiences on cassette tape, and with a Polaroid camera in an effort to create new memories and rebuild his identity.
