Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival announced the winners of this year’s festival. Los Fuertes (The Strong Ones), directed by Omar Zúñiga Hidalgo won the Audience award for Best Narrative Feature and the Grand Jury Prize for Best International Narrative Feature. Minyan, directed by Eric Steel won the Grand Jury Prize for Best U.S. Narrative Feature.

P.S. Burn This Letter Please, directed by Michael Seligman, Jennifer Tiexiera won the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature; with Your Mother’s Comfort, directed by Adam Golub winning the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary Feature.

For Encore Week, which began Monday, August 31 and runs through Monday, September 7, festival winners, feature film favorites and nearly the entire shorts program of over 100 films, will rotate daily for 24-hours.
