The Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association voted Nomadland as the best film of 2020, with Chloe Zhao winning Best Director and Joshua James Richards for Best Cinematography.

Other winning films include Minari won for Best Foreign Language Film and Russell Smith Award for best low-budget or cutting-edge independent film.
