Everything Everywhere All at Once and Tár tied for the top honor of Best Picture of the Year by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA).

Tár also received honors for Director along with Screenplay for Todd Field, and Best Lead Performance for Cate Blanchett. Everything Everywhere All at Once received honors for Best Supporting for Performance for Ke Huy Quan

“We are so happy about the breadth and depth of this year’s awards, and thrilled to be able to honor our illustrious winners in person for the first time in 3 years,” said LAFCA President Claudia Puig. “We will be celebrating the award winners this year on January 14, 2023 at the Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles, which has a storied cinematic history.”

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association chose writer-director Claire Denis as the recipient of this year’s Career Achievement Award.
