Jake Gyllenhaal and Dar Salim star in The Covenant, the action-thriller film directed by Guy Ritchie. Also starring in the film are Antony Starr, Alexander Ludwig, Bobby Schofield, Emily Beecham, and Jonny Lee Miller

The Covenant opens in theaters on April 21.

The film centers around US Army Sergeant John Kinley (Gyllenhaal) and Afghan interpreter Ahmed (Salim) who form a bond after an ambush. Ahmed risks everything to save Kinley’s life, but later learns that his family was not given the promised safe passage to America. In return for Ahmed’s life-saving actions, Kinley must journey back to the war zone to retrieve Ahmed’s family before the Taliban finds them.
