A24 debuted the official trailer for Earth Mama, the deeply moving drama starring Tia Nomore as Gia, a young mother fighting for her children.
Also starring in the film are Tia Nomore, Erika Alexander, Doechii, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Olivia Luccardi with Dominic Fike and Bokeem Woodbine.
Directed by Savanah Leaf, making her directorial feature debut, Earth Mama premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival; and will open in theaters with a release date of July 7th.
With two children in foster care, Gia, a pregnant single mother pitted against the system, fights to reclaim her family. In her close-knit Bay Area community, she works to make a life for herself and her kids, in this singular debut feature from filmmaker Savanah Leaf.
