Focus Features revealed the official trailer for A Thousand and One, the award-winning independent film starring Teyana Taylor as a single mother in New York City, caught up in the system. Also starring in the movie are Will Catlett, Josiah Cross, Aven Courtney and Aaron Kingsley Adetola.
Directed by A.V. Rockwell, A Thousand and One world premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival where it won the Grand Jury prize; and will be released in theaters on March 31, 2023.

A Thousand and One follows unapologetic and free-spirited Inez (Teyana Taylor), who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from the foster care system. Holding onto their secret and each other, mother and son set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City.
