For over 35 years, the gay porn shop Circus of Books gave Los Angeles’ LGBT+ community a space to socialize and celebrate themselves without judgment.
Netflix today released the trailer for award winning documentary on the bookstore titled Circus of Books, executive produced by Ryan Murphy, and the debut documentary from artist Rachel Mason.
In the documentary budding filmmaker Rachel Mason finally asks the least radical people she knows – her parents – the owners of the bookstore, how they became American’s biggest distributors of gay porn.
Circus of Books premieres on Netflix on April 22.
