Definitely check out the official trailer for Stop and Go, the indie comedy film starring Whitney Call and Mallory Everton as two sisters braving a cross-country road trip to rescue their grandmother from a COVID outbreak at her nursing home.

Also starring in the film are Anne Sward Hansen, Julia Jolley, Baylee Thornock, Jessica Drolet, Stephen Meek, Tyler Andrew Jones, Tori Pence and Dora McDonald

Directed by Mallory Everton and Stephen Meek, Stop and Go, originally titled Recovery, world premiered at this year’s 2021 SXSW, opens in theaters and on-demand on October 1, 2021.

Sisters Blake and Jamie’s big plans for the year come to a screeching halt when they are forced to rescue their grandmother and her beloved dog from her nursing home, before their reckless sister can get there first. They embark on a hilarious cross-country race against time while contending with a deranged dog breeder, a highly inappropriate 9-year-old, and a clueless Romeo, all in the name of family.
