American Delivery directed by Carolyn Jones is the winner of the Roxanne T. Mueller Audience Choice Award for Best Film at the 48th Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF48) which wrapped on Saturday, April 13th with the award ceremony. The film interweaves the stories of women and their families across the U.S. as they navigate the challenges of pregnancy, mental health, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
Other films winning awards include We Have Never Been Modern directed by Matěj Chlupáček took the George Gund III Memorial Central and Eastern European Competition; Bye Bye Tiberias directed by Lina Soualem won the May the Schwartz Be With You Director’s Award; Thelma directed by Josh Margolin won American Independents Competition; Rouge directed by Hamoody Jaafar won the Local Heroes Competition; Chasing Chasing Amy directed by Sav Rodgers won the Ad Hoc Docs Competition; and Thank You Guys directed by Riccardo Milani won the International Narrative Competition.
CIFF49 will take place March 26-April 5, 2025 at Playhouse Square.

DREAM MAKER AWARD
Celebrating its sixth year, CIFF48 presented its DReam Maker Award to pioneering LGBTQ+ filmmaker, and director and producer of the CIFF48 film CHASING CHASING AMY: Sav Rodgers.
GROUNDBREAKER AWARD
The Festival presented its fourth Groundbreaker Award to the director of the CIFF48 film UNSEEN: Set Hernandez. During their time in Cleveland, Set connected with organizations whose missions support the themes and topics in their film.
