Here is a first look teaser at Ahed’s Knee, Nadav Lapid’s dynamic, blistering drama and winner of the Prix du Jury prize at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. The film starring Avshalom Pollak and Nur Fibak has its North American Premiere at 2021 Toronto International Film Festival followed by a screening at 2021 New York Film Festival.

Y., an Israeli filmmaker in his mid-forties, arrives in a remote village at the far end of the desert to present one of his films. There he meets Yahalom, an officer for the Ministry of Culture, and finds himself fighting two losing battles: one against the death of freedom in his country, the other against the death of his mother.
