ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Queer Women of Color Film Festival is the public face of QWOCMAP’s work, which combines film, art, activism and community building to engage communities to think critically about their relationship to our movements for social justice. In June 2003, our first free screening drew standing-room-only crowds. In 2005, our packed annual screenings expanded into the 1st Annual Queer Women of Color Film Festival. Current Queer Women of Color Film Festivals play to a full house every screening.
