ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Riverside Saginaw Film Festival was established as a grassroots effort to bring interesting, entertaining and thought-provoking independent, foreign and documentary movies to the Saginaw area. Other goals include providing an economic boost to the central city area, supporting local venues and other nonprofit groups, and showcasing emerging filmmakers.
We take our name from an historic Riverside Park which showed films and from the fact our venues are within one to two blocks of the Saginaw River which flows through our city.
