Directors’ Fortnight, the parallel section of Cannes Film Festival, announced the line-up of 21 feature films and 10 short films for the 56th edition taking place May 15 – 25, 2024.

This year’s Directors’ Fortnight opens with Sophie Fillières’ final film, This Life of Mine starring Agnès Jaoui and closes with Jean-Christophe Meurisse’s Plastic Guns.

Directors’ Fortnight will pay tribute to filmmaker Chantal Akerman with a special screening of her movie American Stories: Food, Family and Philosophy.
