ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Sioux City International Film Festival promotes independent films and filmmakers to the people of Sioux City and the surrounding region.
Since 2005, the Sioux City International Film Festival has showcased a variety of independent short films from all the around world. Each day of the Festival a different genre of film is featured. Those films in addition to being judged by a jury are also judged separately by the audience at the end of each presentation. Cash prizes and trophies will be given to the juried selections and to the audience favorites in each category. An additional Best of Festival Award will be given on the final day.
