Flee by Jonas Poher Rasmussen won the top prize of Best Feature at the 37th Annual IDA Documentary Awards.

Summer of Soul was the eventual big winner of the night taking home the most prizes including Best Director for Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Best Music Documentary and Best Editing.

Special awards including Career Achievement Award went to Roger Ross Williams, Truth to Power Award went to Ronan Farrow, Emerging Documentary Filmmaker Award went to Cecilia Aldarondo, Pioneer Award went to Jean Tsien and Rintu Thomas and Courage Under Fire Award went to Sushmit Ghost.
