A24 unveiled the official trailer for Stars at Noon, the erotic thriller film starring Margaret Qualley, Joe Alwyn, Benny Safdie, Danny Ramirez, and John C. Reilly. The film is based on the novel The Stars at Noon by Denis Johnson.
In the film Margaret Qualley stars as an American journalist and Joe Alwyn as an English businessman who meet by chance in Nicaragua and strike up a passionate romance. They two become embroiled in conspiracies and sinister plots, and must band together to escape the dangerous country.
Directed by French filmmaker Claire Denis, Stars at Noon premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix; and will be released in theaters on October 14 and on Hulu on October 28
