A24 revealed the official trailer for The Whale, the drama based on the award-winning play by Samuel D. Hunter, starring Brendan Fraser as a 600 lb. man trying to reconnect with his seventeen-year-old daughter. Also starring in the film are Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Ty Simpkins, and Samantha Morton.
Directed by Academy Award® nominee Darren Aronofsky, The Whale world premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival, and opens in theaters on December 9, 2022.
