A24 unveiled a new official trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale, starring Brendan Fraser as an obese recluse in a performance for which he received numerous accolades including Best Actor nomination for the 80th Golden Globe Awards.
Based on the award-winning play by Samuel D. Hunter, co-starring Hong Chau and Sadie Sink, The Whale world premiered at the Venice Film Festival; and was released on December 9, 2022, expanding nationwide on December 21, 2022.
From Darren Aronofsky comes The Whale, the story of a reclusive English teacher who attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter. Starring Brendan Fraser and based on the acclaimed play by Samuel D. Hunter.
