Deadline shared the first trailer from Goat Days (Aadujeevitham), the feature film adaptation of the 2008 best seling Malayalam novel of the same name by Benyamin, and starring Prithviraj Sukumaran along with Jimmy Jean-Louis.
Directed by Blessy, the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant worker forced into slavery as a goatherd in a farm in Saudi Arabia. Jean-Louis stars as Ibrahim, who joins him on a life-or-death quest for freedom in the desert.
The original Malayalam-language novel by Indian author Benyamin book won the Kerala Literary Academy Award in 2009, and is banned in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
