SINCE: 2008
WHERE: Easton, Maryland, USA
WEBSITE: www.chesapeakefilmfestival.com
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL: The Chesapeake Film Festival brings outstanding narrative, comedy, documentary and short films to the Eastern Shore of Maryland that otherwise would not be locally available. Our fourth annual festival in 2011 built on the extraordinary successes of our first three festivals and included partnerships with Gallery 447 in the town of Cambridge, Easton Premier Cinemas, Plein Air-Easton, The Frederick Douglass Honor Society, the Talbot Cinema Society, the Talbot County Office of Tourism and others. In addition, our film festival proudly enhances Easton’s growing reputation as a center for the arts, adding a new and complementary dimension to existing arts events such as the Waterfowl, Chamber Music and Plein Air-Easton festivals. The exciting variety of films that CFF brings has won numerous prestigious awards all over the world and represents both new ground-breaking film and beloved classics. The Board of Directors is immensely grateful to each and every person who supports our festival!
