A24 released the official trailer for After Yang, the critically-acclaimed sci-fi drama from visionary filmmaker Kogonada, starring Colin Farrell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Justin H. Min, Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, and Haley Lu Richardson.
After Yang had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. The film will open in theaters and begins streaming on Showtime on March 4, 2022.
When his young daughter’s beloved companion — an android named Yang — malfunctions, Jake (Colin Farrell) searches for a way to repair him. In the process, Jake discovers the life that has been passing in front of him, reconnecting with his wife (Jodie Turner-Smith) and daughter across a distance he didn’t know was there.
