Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Parasite led the film nominations for GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics’ 11th Dorian Awards given for the best in film and television of 2019. Portrait of a Lady on Fire and was nominated for Film of the Year, Foreign Language Film of the Year and LGBT Film of the Year.

Also nominated for Film of the Year are Hustlers, Little Women, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Pain and Glory, and Parasite; and for LGBTQ Film of the Year, the other nominees include Booksmart, End of the Century, Pain and Glory, and Rocketman.

Comprised of more than 260 professional American and foreign entertainment journalists, GALECA’s Dorian Awards are named in honor of Oscar Wilde and his novel, “The Picture of Dorian Gray.” Dorian Award winners will be announced on Wednesday, January 8.
